Project 4 Reflection

In Meshmixer I duplicated Joe and stuck the two skulls together to push the idea of playing with skulls in the name of art (where you don't have to be anatomically correct).

I blackened the whole skull then brought back the gold color in some areas. I kept some of the bubbles formed at the edge of the skull above the eye sockets and kept from completely smoothing over the surfaces, playing with the idea of altered surfaces (roughening them up instead of smoothing them down) in art as opposed to medical modeling.

As I'd worked on this piece I also thought about some other ways I could have incorporated the idea of medical modeling like adding in artifacts (a lot of the times, there are cone-like artifacts that I have to clean up with the heads in the lab).
